There are generally two methods to trim and sharpen the electroplated diamond grinding wheels.The first method is to use ordinary grinding wheel to grind the electroplating diamond grinding wheel,they will make the rotation movement together, in addition, the ordinary grinding wheel will also need to make feed movement,the grinding particles attached on the electroplated grinding wheel surface begin to rotate,and will binder to produce extrusion force,and then to cause crack,make the blunt diamond particles fall off,and finally achieve the trimming effect.
The advantages of this method are convenient operation, short trimming time and stable speed, and the cost is generally low.Whereas,the disadvantage is the trimming efficiency is low, the precision is poor and the abrasive shedding is more.
The second method is put the belt sleeve on the belt wheel,through the slow rotation to remove the bond on the electroplated diamond grinding wheel.
